All grades have various activities throughout the year that enhance the educational experience of Holy Spirit School. Below are just a few different opportunities that our students have participated in.
Visit to the State Capitol – 4th grade students study the Wisconsin government and take an annual trip to tour the State Capitol.
GREAT Program – 7th grade students work with local police officers in a Gang Resistance Education Program. As a final project, students find a way to give back to their community or school.
Red Ribbon Week - offers a great opportunity for schools to raise awareness of the problem of drug abuse. We participate in a week of themed dress up days based on drug abuse awareness and culminate with the week with an all school Red Ribbon Assembly.
Junior Achievement - JA's volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential.
Class Retreats - Each grade (Grades 6-8) participates in a day long retreat at our parish center.
PUDD Days – “Pay Up to Dress Down.” Every month students can participate; money raised goes to a chosen charity or service project selected by the students.
