Greetings! I am Jeannie Brehmer.
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from UW-Stout and taught kindergarten and preschool in different schools prior to coming to Holy Spirit School. I have been part of the Holy Spirit staff since 2004 and was a teacher aide, substitute teacher, and a kindergarten teacher during the first few years. From 2008 until the end of the 2018 school year, I taught Preschool 3 or 4K here. I enjoyed every moment of teaching preschool students! It was wonderful to watch so many young children learn and grow socially, academically, and in their faith.
In 2018, I decided that it was time to slow down a bit, so I stepped out of my own classroom and became part of the support staff at Holy Spirit. I have worked as a teacher aide in many different classrooms since then and have also assisted in our school childcare program.
This year I will be the teacher aide in the first grade classroom everyday. I am really looking forward to helping these young eager learners as they discover so many new things!
I live in Darboy with my husband Jim. We have 3 grown children. Our son is married and they have 2 beautiful little girls. I love being a grandma! Our twin daughters are both finished with college now and starting out in their chosen professions - a recreational therapist and an art teacher.I am a long time member of Holy Spirit Parish and my children attended school here from preschool through 8th grade. I enjoy walking, biking, reading, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with my family.
