Hi! My name is Mrs. Sylla and I am a preschool teacher. I earned my elementary education teaching degree from UW-Madison in 2013. Since then, I have spent time working in education as a first grade teacher, a mom to my 3 children, and now teaching preK 3 at Holy Spirit School.
I love being a teacher because it gives me the opportunity to inspire minds and hearts toward a love of learning. Sharing a story, making projects, encouraging creative play, exploring academic concepts through hands-on learning activities….. That is the magic of teaching preschool! Teaching at a Catholic school gives me a unique opportunity to share Jesus’ love with my students and to intertwine faith into our daily work- and that is a wonderful gift!
A little bit more about me… I live in Kimberly with my husband, 3 kids (who also attend Holy Spirit School), and our dog. I love playing outside with my kids, going on walks, baking, reading, and doing creative projects. I’m also an indoor plant hobbyist and active parishioner at Holy Spirit Parish.
