Hello! My name is Maddie Stumpf and I am excited to get to know all of you more throughout the year, but I will first tell you a little bit about myself. In January of 2015, I graduated from Edgewood College with an Elementary Education degree and a Sociology minor. I completed my student teaching experience within the Appleton Area School District, at Richmond Elementary School, in a second grade classroom. During the summer of 2015, I taught summer school at Stockbridge Public School where I led a program for 4k and 5k students. From there, I did an abundant amount of substitute teaching in several Fox Valley area districts. In early 2016, I accepted a position as a long term substitute in the Neenah Joint School District where I taught in a 1st-3rd grade classroom with a Montessori curriculum. Continuing on at that same school, I taught summer school for a 3rd-4th grade remedial class, focusing on Reading and Math. In the summer of 2016, I accepted the 4th grade position at Holy Spirit School and taught that for six years. In the spring of 2022, I was offered the role as the new Dean of Students, as well as the middle school Social Studies teacher. Following that, I was promoted to the position as the Assistant Principal in 2023. I feel blessed to be a part of such a great school community.
I have several hobbies including reading, playing sports, traveling, going up north, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and most importantly spending time with my family and friends. I have had a love of teaching since I was young and am honored to be able to come back and teach at the very school I grew up attending. I have so many wonderful memories of this school as a child and am now able to continue to make new ones as an adult...it is a true blessing!
