The mission of Holy Spirit School is to serve God by providing a challenging academic education within the Catholic Tradition.
My name is Mr. Graff, and I am the music, choir, and band teacher at Holy Spirit. I graduated from Lawrence University in 2022, majoring in Trombone Performance and Music Education. In the fall and winter of 2022, I served as a student teacher in the Kimberly School District, teaching General Music at Westside Elementary School with Mrs. Beth Kinzel and Band at Kimberly High School with Mr. Craig Gall. After completing my student teaching, I served as a substitute teacher for Kimberly School District, before serving as the long-term music substitute teacher for Shiocton Elementary School until the end of the school year, teaching Kindergarten through Grade Five. I am very excited to continue my teaching career at Holy Spirit!
I am originally from Winona, MN, and I have five siblings, including an identical twin brother. I love spending time with my family, and enjoy any occasion when all of us can be in the same place at once. I am an avid reader, especially of fantasy, and I am also a tap dance performer and teacher. I belong to St. Mary Parish in Appleton, and am currently serving on the Pastoral Council and as a Core Team member for Beacon Ministries for middle school students. Having attended Catholic schools from Kindergarten through High School, I feel honored and privileged to have the opportunity to introduce and nurture a love and appreciation for music to students through a Catholic education.
